Targeted Group Online Tutoring (2-7 Students)
Algebra 1 is the most-repeated class in middle school and high school, but it doesn’t have to be that way for your student. You can help set your student up for success. By enrolling in our Algebra Highlights program before taking Algebra at school, your student will be exposed to many of the key concepts, ideas, and formulas that are essential to Algebra 1. With the exposure to this material, they will be better prepared to understand and retain it in their class, taking it with them to higher-level classes beyond Algebra 1.
This class series will go over solving literal equations, solving systems of equations and inequalities, function notation, rules of exponents, and factoring involving quadratics. Students will be exposed to key terms in each of these areas and receive support in understanding each one. Importantly, students are given time to practice solving problems and, with the two-camera setup, receive instant guidance on their work. And, in a group setting, they have the benefit of seeing different ways errors can show up and how to correct them. To find out if your student is likely to benefit from this course, click here.
Live classes meet online – Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
Session 1 – June 8 to June 25
Session 2 – July 13 to July 30
