My Story
With many years of public school math teaching experience in both Middle and High School; I can tutor your child and ensure they remain proficient in their mathematics courses, and enjoy learning along the way. I’ve found that students learn best and make long-term memories when they are relaxed and happy. I am a time served and qualified teaching professional, and I‘m ready to help.
My Story
As a child, math came relatively easy to me. But it was not until after I spent many unfulfilling years as a business-owner and bookkeeper that I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. Around that time, my child was beginning Pre-Algebra and I supported him and his friends through their math classes. While in school, I trained alongside seasoned master teachers who taught me how to recognize the different ways confusion can manifest in students and how to help them toward understanding. Now, as a seasoned teacher myself, I am continuing my work in supporting students as they tackle the math class with the highest failure rate outside of college.
